MikeScheve.jpgAttorney Michael L. Scheve’s practice focuses on personal injury, employment, family law and sport and entertainment law litigation. He has extensive experience representing clients in complex dissolution and child custody proceedings. Mr. Scheve also has litigated hundreds of cases, representing both employers and employees in federal and state courts involving lawsuits brought under the FLSA, COBRA, WARN Act, FMLA, Title VII and Florida Whistleblower’s Act. His sports and entertainment practice consists of representing Major League Baseball players in salary arbitration and grievances, and other various issues with the collective bargaining agreement. He also represents professional boxers including Fernando Vargas, former IBF light middleweight champion and 1996 U.S. Olympic Team Member (boxing).

Mr. Scheve is admitted to practice in all Florida courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.

He earned his B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida in 2002 and earned his J.D. from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 2006. While at Mercer he was a member of the Law Review, serving as Managing Editor from 2005-2006.

Mr. Scheve is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Justice Association and The Florida Bar.
